Staffing Metrics & Analytical Services Manager

Dov developed and leads the Staffing Metrics and Analytical Services department, guiding his team to help our clients staff their buildings optimally. With a background in Analytics from Georgia Tech’s Masters program, he designs innovative ways to locate areas for improvement. Dov also enjoys refining processes and data flows, and is responsible to ensure that PBJ reporting is processed, reported, and submitted accurately.

Nechama Mael

Chief People Officer

As our human resources and operations expert, Nechama is responsible for harnessing the full power of AGS's most valuable asset—our people. She tackles all aspects of talent acquisition and management, ensuring every employee is successful, engaged, happy, and productive. Never afraid to challenge the status quo, Nechama is constantly asking how we can do better and achieve more. She is focused on improving and streamlining processes across the company to ensure we provide the best products and services to our clients. Her experience prior to working at AGS includes operations consulting in the U.S. and abroad as well as managing a medical call center. Nechama holds an MBA from the University of Baltimore as well as Lean Healthcare and Six Sigma green belt certifications.

Barry Schnell

Chief Information Officer

With over 25 years of leadership and hands-on experience, Barry is responsible for leading our technology team and overseeing our technology platform, data & managed services. A former employee at Microsoft, he has since held executive leadership roles at start-up and early-stage companies and has worked with companies such as Fidelity, Nasdaq, Accordia Healthcare, Alliance Data Systems, and Tech Data Corporation. Experienced in a broad range of industries, he understands the software business and the delivery systems that it takes to build successful solutions and provide world-class customer support.

Bracha Steinfeld

Chief Operations Officer

Bracha runs the day-to-day operations of AGS’s Montebello offices, working with various directors to streamline processes, hire staff, boost employee morale, and (occasionally) make coffee. Having advanced from an entry-level employee to become the director of operations, Bracha understands the full scope of AGS, both from an executive perspective and front-line staff point of view. Over the years, she has played an integral role in the company’s growth and continues to work with her talented team to meet every challenge and make the impossible possible.

Shloime Silbiger

Chief Financial Officer

Shloime liaisons between our executive level management and the AGS department directors and their teams. An enthusiastic proponent for positive workplace culture, Shloime brings out the best potential in each of our individual team members. He holds the distinction of being the company’s first employee, serving previously as Director of Treasury and Director of HR. In his personal time, Shloime serves as treasurer for his local shul, as well as being involved in multiple non-profit organizations.

Vicky Krief

Director of AP

Vicky has a leadership role focusing on Financial Operations. She emphasizes process improvement, optimal system development and cultivating strong leaders of the future. Vicky brings 20+ years of experience and a war chest of skills that all embody and deliver on our core values of Respect, Accountability, Transparency, Customer Satisfaction and Desire to Grow.

Prior to her role at AGS, Vicky was instrumental in creating the core systems, processes, financial reports and budgets for a major publicly traded company. Vicky led all aspects of financial systems implementations, developing and managing multiple teams and processes in support of their financial operations, as well as day-to-day operations of client service for over 8000 customers and 500 partners.

Vicky enjoys spending time with her family, writing, tablescaping and mentoring women who are ready to make the transition into the workforce.

Steven Weidberg

Director of Revenue Cycle Management

Steven directs AGS’s revenue cycle management (RCM) operations to ensure client satisfaction and maximum collection rates and oversees the implementation and effectiveness of RCM processes. Steven joined AGS in 2021. Prior to joining AGS, Steven led client service engagements with PwC’s Assurance practice, where he spent the majority of his public accounting career servicing both private and public companies. He has extensive experience in client service, team management, and processes and controls design and implementation. Steven has a passion for client service, team and relationship building, and professional development. Steven is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and earned a Masters in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Steven is also an adjunct professor of accounting at Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Shlomo Fisher

Accounts Receivable Manager

As Vice President of Accounts Receivable, Shlomo manages the collection process for the AR department. An innovative leader, Shlomo has expanded his department to include a billing office in Detroit, MI, and continues to onboard new portfolios within new states. He has previous experience in real estate management and holds a BA of Talmudic Law and Analysis.

Shaye Hamburger

Director of Office Management

From maintaining its professional appearance to keeping a meticulous inventory, to managing its supplies and equipment, Shaye keeps our office space organized and running smoothly. Highly organized and always with a smile, Shaye also oversees the company’s document management process; coordinating all documents for AGS’s many departments in the most efficient and cost-effective manner. His team also handles check printing and setting up new shipment accounts for clients. Known for his energetic, positive attitude, Shaye ensures a welcoming and aesthetically appealing atmosphere for employees and visitors alike.

Sean Manne

VP of Payroll

As VP of Payroll, Sean leads a strong team that processes payroll and provides benefits administration for more than 120 facilities. He comes with a decade of experience in Home Care management, where he oversaw the Authorizations, AR, Time and Attendance and Payroll operations, performing each of these functions at the ground level, before growing to manage the teams. Sean is always looking to analyze processes with his team and work to identify potential inefficiencies and generate an even higher level of productivity.

Pearl Reich

Accounts Receivable Manager

One of the longest members of the AGS team, Pearl brings 15 years of hands-on billing experience to her role as A/R manager. Before coming to AGS, Pearl gained industry experience working in various departments within nursing facilities, including social services and billing. An expert in A/R billing, she began working for AGS as an A/R specialist and later became a supervisor. Currently, Pearl is responsible for overseeing a team of nine employees, providing A/R services for 15 facilities. Pearl serves as a mentor to others on her team, sharing her knowledge and best practices with others. When not at work, Pearl enjoys creating culinary delicacies and spending time with her family.

Michael Mocton

Director of Staff Development

Michael Mocton has been involved in leading teams in many different industries. From banking, compliance, real estate, manufacturing, forensic accounting and auditing, Michael has been successful in creating thriving business environments with teamwork and personnel management. He holds an MBA from Zicklin School of Business, Baruch College and is a licensed CPA in the State of New York. Michael brings a passion for getting people involved and information sharing. Michael is responsible for the training and development of our staff by building learning curriculums and tracking employee wellbeing. His goal is to create a culture of learning and growth.

Mark Kantor

Director of Application Development

Mark is responsible for Application Development at AGS, including our AMP platform which provides SaaS solutions to the healthcare industry. He enjoys leading his team in providing innovative solutions for our clients through our software, such as the latest AMP module his team developed to aid in pharmacy cost containment. He has a degree in Computer Programming and a Project Management certification.

Marc Mermelstein

Director of IT Platform Services

Marc is responsible for designing and maintaining the systems our clients use to do their work, ensuring a world-class technological system with a highly redundant infrastructure to maintain 99.999% uptime. Drawing on experience as a Systems Engineer and Engineering Team Leader, Marc guides his department with a comprehensive expertise in his field, not to mention wit and warmth. He is also a Scuba Diving Instructor, and volunteers as an Auxiliary Police Sergeant for the NYPD.

Leah Sternbuch

Accounts Receivable Manager

Leah oversees accounts receivables for 19 nursing homes, working to ensure claims are paid and facilitating a smooth onboarding experience for new clients. As part of the AGS team for over 15 years, Leah is known by her colleagues as someone who’ll do whatever it takes to get the job done.

Kiran Kumar

Director of Business Insights

Kiran leads the Business Insights department at Apex Global Solutions. In this role, he is responsible for developing reporting and analytics products that provide customers with actionable business insights. Kiran is deeply passionate about leveraging data to deliver the greatest possible value to customers and has extensive experience in the Healthcare and Financial Services industries.

Julie Friedman

Accounts Receivable Manager

Julie manages the revenue cycle for facilities and specializes in rehabilitating skilled nursing facilities experiencing A/R issues. A certified medical biller and coder with over a decade of experience, Julie is knowledgeable in all areas of Accounts Receivable and Medicaid planning. Starting as a Biller, advancing to a Medicare and HMO Specialist, Medicaid Planning Specialist, and A/R Supervisor, Julie has worked in every position within the revenue cycle with scores of facilities across many states. She is a volunteer for Chai Lifeline, as well as a swimming enthusiast and lifeguard.

Joshua Jacobs

VP of Client Relations

As Vice President of AR and Director of Customer Relations, Joshua works around the clock to ensure that all clients’ needs are met, developing swift solutions to any concerns that may arise. He also on-boards and transitions new clients, helping them navigate the magic that is AGS’s systems. He has over 22 years of experience in AR Management roles and holds a Masters in Business from Johns Hopkins University.

Dov Weller

Director of Purchasing & Cost Containment

Dov directs the AGS Purchasing & Cost Containment department responsible for proactively managing skilled nursing facility spend through aggregating a breadth of cutting-edge industry knowledge and wide-ranging vendor contracts. He enjoys leading his team in ensuring that the AGS purchasing platform is assisting facilities in the goal of providing quality care and services. Dov holds an MBA as well as a Masters in Psychology and brings experience as the Director of Pharmacy & Cost Containment here at AGS. Dov is also a published author.

David Trimble

Director of Technical Accounting

David has almost 40 years of experience as both a CPA and reimbursement professional with several SNF-based chains. After working in public accounting, David was recruited to start up, lead and develop reimbursement departments at several large regional healthcare companies. He has experience in both Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement in more than a dozen states primarily throughout the southeast. With extensive experience in cost reporting and communication with State & Federal representatives, David served as a liaison for all aspects of audits and provided a myriad of financial projections and analyses for acquisitions and reimbursement maximization, primarily in the SNF industry. David has served as a board member, worked on legislative and reimbursement committees, and is currently the Vice Chair for the FHCA reimbursement committee and on the reimbursement cabinet and committee with AHCA.

David Smith

Director of Finance Systems

As director of financial systems David manages the software systems and administrative teams supporting the accounting and financial services department including Microsoft Dynamics GP, SAGE Intacct, Basware, and Stampli. David comes with over 20 years of experience in software development and project management including 10 years at Goldman Sachs and as CTO of a startup company in New York. Innovation and Automation are the keys to building the processes we need to scale and grow as a company.

Ben Katz

Director of Accounting

Ben leads Accounting services at Apex Global Solutions, overseeing financial management and controllership services to our clients. Ben joined Apex in 2020. Prior to joining Apex, Ben led client service engagements with Deloitte’s Audit & Assurance practice, where he spent the majority of his public accounting career. He has extensive experience in matters related to financial reporting, accounting and regulatory issues, and processes and controls. Ben has a passion for serving clients with excellence, process transformation, and enabling his team members to develop professionally. Ben is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and earned a Masters in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU).

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, biking, hiking, and exploring the great outdoors; and volunteers to coach and mentor accounting majors as they embark on their careers.

Adam Schuh

Director of Treasury

As Director of Treasury Services, Adam comes to AGS with over two decades of experience managing Finance teams for a large, public corporation. Leading the Treasury team responsible for cash management, cash projections, reporting, and banking relationships, Adam’s goal is to ensure all clients, external and internal, have the most accurate and up-to-date information on anything cash related. With a strong background in process improvement, system development, and client relations, Adam leads the Treasury team as AGS expands and maintains our commitment to Transparency, Accountability, and Customer Satisfaction.

Adam Levin

Director of Information Security

Adam leads the Security and Compliance office of Apex Global Solutions and is responsible for ensuring all IT systems are protected and all regulatory requirements are adhered to. Adam has been with the department since 2012 and has repeatedly demonstrated his skills and insightful nature to deal with all threats, creating a secure environment that our customers and internal staff have come to rely on. He's recently received his CISSP certification which is highly valued and difficult to achieve. He has a passion for growth and security, always looking for what the next threat is to ensure the safety and security of our staff, customers, and data.

Cenon Hipolito

Director of Client Services

As Director of Client Services, Cenon ensures that AGS’s IT support goes above and beyond to exceed clients’ expectations. Through his wide-ranging role, which includes managing the IT Helpdesk, Purchasing, and Field Tech teams, he has helped AGS maintain its impressive 99% customer satisfaction rating. Known around the office for his positive and upbeat personality.

Kenneth Milgraum

VP of Finance

Ken oversees Accounting, Accounts Payable and Treasury. He focuses on delivering timely, accurate financial results with consistent technical expertise and insight. He strives to create a culture of accountability, ownership and talent development.

Ken has a robust financial background working in Private and Public accounting. He grew up at Deloitte and Touché, LLP serving large multi-national publicly traded companies and most recently worked for a Real Estate Conglomerate as the Financial Controller.

Ken also serves as the Treasurer for YBH of Passaic, a Yeshiva with over 750 students.

Marc Elias

Director of Treasury

With a background in finance, Marc has worked primarily in health care as a controller for companies that operate large numbers of nursing homes. As the Director of Treasury, Marc oversees several financial analysis programs as well as cash management for various portfolios. Working closely with many banks and lenders, Marc also manages all the company’s working capital lines.

Rivka Hammelburger

Director of Corporate Accounting

Rivka Hammelburger directs the Corporate Accounting team at Apex, which gives business owners the ability to focus on business operations by allowing them to outsource all of their accounting needs. The Corporate Accounting team handles everything from accounts payable and receivable to cash management and financial reporting. As a leader, Rivka guides her team on utilizing automation software to accelerate workflow, streamlining processes to improve quality, and providing innovative reports to surpass each client’s expectations. Rivka holds a Masters in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University and loves to paint and draw in her spare time.

Simon Gelbtuch

VP of Corporate Accounting

As VP, Simon is responsible for overseeing the Corporate Accounting department at Apex Global Solutions where he is involved in planning, directing and coordinating all accounting operational functions. Simon joined Apex in 2020 after spending most of his career in public accounting at a national Big 4 firm. Simon received a BS in accounting from Touro College and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York.

Jeremy Kahn

Chief Information Officer

An innovative technology consultant with over 25 years of experience, Jeremy’s leadership and consulting experience has crossed the private, public and government sectors. Jeremy previously developed a consulting organization focused on cybersecurity, the financial, healthcare and hospitality vertical markets. An attorney and member of the NY State Bar Association, Jeremy has spoken at a numerous industry events on cybersecurity, disaster recovery and enterprise architecture, and conducted CLE classes on cybersecurity. He earned his JD from Brooklyn Law School and a BS in Policy Analysis from Cornell University. Jeremy currently lives outside of New York City with his wife and children where he serves on the school board as their "technology consultant" for the past 15 years.

Sharon Steinfeld

Accounts Receivable Manager

Sharon manages a team of accounts receivable specialists. Bringing a broad scope of knowledge and experience from her previous work as a biller, tracker, and supervisor, Sharon manages a 42-building portfolio and provides guidance for the 23 employees on her team. A multi-tasker known for her ability to juggle many tasks at once, Sharon has trained 10 employees simultaneously to onboard over 40 buildings and has interviewed over one hundred job candidates while at AGS. In her spare time, Sharon enjoys cooking and baking.

Nelly Dombroff

Accounts Receivable Manager

Nelly leads a team responsible for all aspects of A/R for 24 facilities, working closely with her team to help facilities reach their goals. She is known to stay calm and focused in any situation, and as a mentor who has helped employees advance in their skills, knowledge and positions within AGS.

Bentzion Belen

Accounts Receivable Manager

As manager of AGS’s Detroit Office, Bentzion’s team provides billing services to 14 facilities. Previously, Bentzion worked as a mortgage loan officer and has a Masters in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Capella University. When not at work, Bentzion likes to ski, bike and travel. He is also fluent in American Sign Language.

With a strong corporate background and results-driven approach, Isaac leads Apex Global Solutions’ information technology along with consumer-facing innovation.

Sam Kravetz

VP of Accounts Receivable

Sam Kravetz, Chief Operation Officer, oversees AGS’s revenue cycle management operations to ensure clients maximize reimbursements for services provided. An expert in the entire revenue cycle management as well as the technical intricacies of Medicare and Medicaid billing, Sam has earned AGS a consistent collections percentage of 99%, well above the industry standard.

Jennifer Hollander

Accounts Payable Director

As Accounts Payable Director, Jennifer allows our clients to focus on their business growth by relieving them of the many details involved in their Accounts Payable. She holds a CPA license, a Masters in Accounting and has over 5 years experience as a Tax Accountant and tax manager specializing in corporate and international tax. When not working with numbers, Jennifer can be found cooking and hosting family dinner parties and events. She is also a trained road cyclist and participates in many bike tours.

Shulem Lebowitz

Director of Client Relations and Onboarding

Shulem leads the onboarding process for new facilities and serves as a long term liaison between the client and the various divisions within AGS. A skilled communicator, Shulem adds a human touch to the relationships between clients and AGS, and in the process, he enjoys getting to know a broad spectrum of clients and service providers.

Moss Ellenbogen

CFO

Moss serves as Chief Financial Officer for AGS, coordinating cost reports and working with technical accounting issues across all portfolios. Responsible for state and federal cost report audits, Moss has saved clients over $3 million in potential take-backs over the course of several audits. A skilled negotiator, he works with vendors to keep costs down and reduce compliance costs. He brings 15 years of experience as a CFO of a SNF chain servicing 10 facilities in Florida, a controller of a foreign owned medical device company, market analyst at a $3 billion insurance company, and a public accountant at a Big 4 firm. Moss holds a Bachelors in Science from Yeshiva University and enjoys playing hockey in his spare time.

Jack Teitelbaum

Jack oversees all treasury related services for our clients. With an aptitude for developing new systems and a background as treasury rep & treasury supervisor, Jack guides his department with innovative ideas to continuously expand and enhance our system for client transparency.

Isaac Neumann

Director of Accounting

As Director of Accounting, Isaac oversees the compilation and issuance of client financial statements. Always committed to increasing customer satisfaction, Isaac facilitates efficient communication between his team and other departments to deliver the best results for AGS clients. Holding a Masters in Accounting and a CPA license, Isaac has innovated automated systems to make AGS’s accounting software run more efficiently. When not at work, Isaac enjoys spending time with his family.
